29 January 2018 – In order to prepare clubs for European competitions a workshop for the licensing of clubs for UEFA competitions under the auspices of the Licensing Manager Mr. Bajram Shala was held today at the FFK HQ with the participation of club representatives and where the Deputy Secretary-General and Director of Legal Office Mr. Arianit Ahmeti as well as the First Level Licensing Commission and the Appeals Commission were present. For the importance of this licensing related workshop the attendees were addressed by the Licensing Manager Bajram Shala who noted that there are five basic criteria that a club should meet: sports, personnel and administration, legal, infrastructure and the financial criteria. Furthermore, Mr. Shala clarified to club representatives all the criteria one by one and the importance they have in order for a club to win the right to participate in European competitions.

Mr. Naim Havolli lectured on the financial criterion who said that although the financial criterion is ranked fifth for the importance, it is very important because the clubs have more financial trouble. Therefore, it must be worked from the beginning with maximum accuracy and in compliance with the laws regulating the finance field. During the seminar participants asked licensing related questions.
