3 September 2019 – Great enthusiasm for the victory against Turkey in the first qualifying match (2:0), the energy consumed in that match, but also the quality of today’s rival seemed to be an obstacle for our girls to manage to avoid losing in the match against Slovenia. In fact, the Slovenians won with a convincing 5-0 score in the match played in Dravograd thus achieving their first win in these qualifiers. In the first match, Slovenians lost to Russia (0: 1). Lara Prasnikar and Mateja Zver each scored twice, while Spela Kolbi contributed with a goal in the Slovenian victory. In Group A, after two rounds, the Netherlands and Russia are leading with 6 points, Slovenia and Kosovo have 3, while Turkey and Estonia are without points.
